Work Description:
Work to be done under this Contract comprises, but is not limited to, the provision of all labour, materials, services and equipment necessary for the supply and installation of new intake duty pumps, two HDPE freshwater intakes, and associated electrical systems at Cultus Lake Laboratory, Cultus Lake, B.C.

Work to be performed under this contract includes, but is not limited to:
- Construct work in stages to accommodate the laboratory continued use during construction
- Prove existing utilities and locations
- Remove and dispose of materials, existing pumps and associated electricalsystem as per the contract drawings
- Supply and install:
o Two HDPE intakes as per the contract drawings
o Three duty pumps and associated piping within the existing pump house
o All associated electrical and communication equipment within the existing pump house
- Test and commission the entire intake system
- Complete site restorations to match existing conditions as a minimum
- Demonstrate system operation to the departmental representatives

Optional Site Visit:
Contractors are recommended to visit the site prior to submitting a tender for this work and to make inquiries or investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with the site as well as the nature and extent of the work. A site visit is scheduled on Wednesday, March 22nd,2017 at 11:00am local time. Interested contractors will meet the departmental representative at the main building of Cultus Lake Laboratory, Cultus Lake, B.C.

Delivery Date:
The work shall commence immediately upon official notification of acceptance of tender by the Contracting Authority and is to be completed on or before June 30, 2017.

Value of Project:
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements this project is estimated to cost between $450,000.00 to $550,000.00.
