Work Description:
Work to be done under this Contract comprises, but is not limited to, the provision of all labour, materials, services and equipment necessary for the replacement of 3 existing pile dolphin aids to navigation sites and modifications to 1 existing navigational aid piled structure. 

The locations of the navigational aids which require piling construction services include the following: 
.1 LL 160.0 Franklin River 49° 6’ 13.3”N, 124° 49’ 15.1”W
.2 LL 161.0 Mactush Creek 49° 6’ 34.3”N, 124° 49’ 20.8”W
.3 LL 163.0 Stamp Narrows 49° 14’ 39.5”N, 124° 49’ 27.5”W
.4 LL 168.1 Sommas River 49° 14’ 39.5”N, 124° 49’ 27.5”W

Work to be performed under this contract includes, but is not limited to:
- Mobilize to each site identified with a work barge of appropriate size and certification;
- Remove existing piled dolphin structure and CCG equipment, if applicable;
- Install new pile dolphin structure, if applicable;
- Install CCG supplied equipment on this dolphin;
a. 8’ x 10’ Galv. steel platform
b. 16’ tower and equipment
c. Sections of galvanized steel access ladder
d. Hanging anode assemblies
- Demobilize.

Delivery Date:
The work shall commence immediately upon official notification of acceptance of tender by the Contracting Authority and is to be completed on or before March 1, 2018.

Value of Project:
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements this project is estimated to cost between $300,000.00 to $370,000.00.

Firms intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain tender (solicitation) documents through Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders. Addenda, when issued will be available from Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders. Firms that elect to base their bids on tender (solicitation) documents obtained from other 
sources do so at their own risk and will be solely responsible to inform the tender calling authority of their intention to bid. In all cases, bidders must indicate (when requested) in the space provided on the tender form the identification number(s)of the addenda, if any, that they have taken into consideration for their bid.
