Work Description:
The principal works to be executed and for which all materials,
plant and labour are to be supplied by the Contractor as shown
on the plans and in the specifications:
- Excavate existing revetment materials and in-situ soils to
design elevations.
- Stockpile and reuse existing revetment materials meeting
specifications.
- Supply and install underlayer material.
- Supply and install revetment armour material
- Backfill and grade excavated materials 

Work will be performed in accordance with the contract schedules
within the scope of work. 

Site Visit:
Contractors are recommended to visit the site prior to
submitting a tender for this work and to make inquiries or
investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with
the site as well as the nature and extent of the work.  A site
visit is scheduled on Thursday, May 24th, 2012 at 11:00am local
time, at Sandspit Airport (YZP), Sandspit, BC.  A maximum of two
(2) representatives per bidder will be permitted to examine the
sites.  

Delivery Date:
The work shall commence immediately upon official notification
of acceptance of tender by the Contracting Authority and is to
be completed within twelve (12) weeks after contract award.
