    Work Description:
    Work under this contract comprises of the Annual Safety
    Inspections of two hundred and eleven (211) elevating devices in
    Federal Government owned facilities occupied by Public Service
    employees throughout the Province of British Columbia.  Work
    will be performed in accordance with the contract schedules
    within the scope of work.  The anticipated contract period is
    from December 1st, 2014 to November 30th, 2017, inclusive.
    
    Mandatory Requirements:
    Qualifications:
    All inspection staff must have possession of a valid and current
    Qualified Elevator Inspector certificate by a technical
    authority, such as NAESA International QEI, Safety Codes Officer
    Level 2 (Safety Codes Council of Alberta) or be certified as a
    licensed Safety Officer-Elevator by the BC Safety Authority.
    
    Work references:
    Provide two work references, and include details and scope of
    elevator inspector work performed.  Include a list of names, and
    phone numbers or emails of references.
    
    Proof of elevator inspector certification:
    Attach legible copies of pertinent certificates or diplomas. 
    Certificate must be current, and kept validated throughout the
    contract period.
    
    Mandatory Security Clearance:
    SECURITY REQUIREMENT FOR CANADIAN SUPPLIER:  
    
    	
    1.  The Contractor/Offeror must, at all times during the
    performance of the Contract/Standing Offer, hold a valid
    Designated Organization Screening(DOS), issued by the Canadian
    Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Works and
    Government Services Canada (PWGSC).
    
    2.  The Contractor/Offeror personnel requiring access to
    sensitive work site(s) must EACH hold a valid RELIABILITY
    STATUS, granted or approved by CISD/PWGSC.
    
    3.  Subcontracts which contain security requirements are NOT to
    be awarded without the prior written permission of CISD/PWGSC.
    
    4.  The Contractor/Offeror must comply with the provisions of
    the:
    
    	(a) Security Requirements Check List; and
    	(b) Industrial Security Manual (Latest Edition).

    The value of this contract work is estimated to cost around
    $200,000.00 for the duration of the three year contract period.
