    Work Description:
    Work to be done under this Contract comprises of upgrades to the existing infrastructure located at the Rogers Pass maintenance compound located in Glacier National Park, along the Trans-Canada Highway, 70.3km Northeast of Revelstoke, BC.  Work to be performed under this Contract includes, but is not limited to, the following:
    1.) Stormwater Diversion and Detention Upgrades.
    2.) Sanitary System Upgrades.
    3.) Installation of an aboveground petroleum storage and dispensing system.
    4.) Removal of existing underground fuel storage tanks and related fueling infrastructure.
    
    Work will be performed in accordance with the contract schedules within the scope of work.
    
    Site Visit:
    Contractors are recommended to visit the site prior to submitting a tender for this work and to make inquiries or investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with the site as well as the nature and extent of the work. A site visit is scheduled on Friday, May 13th, 2016 at 1:30pm local time, at the Rogers Pass Parks Canada Compound, Carpenter Shop Building. The drawings in the tender package will identify the location of the Carpenter Shop Building. A maximum of two (2) representatives per bidder will be permitted to examine the sites. 
    
    Contractors interested in attending the site visit should pre-register by close of business on Thursday, May 12th, 2016 with the PWGSC Contracting Authority by e-mail: ken.ngan@pwgsc.gc.ca   
    
    Delivery Date:
    The work shall commence immediately upon official notification of acceptance of tender by the Contracting Authority and is to be completed within sixteen (16) weeks from Contract Award.

    Value of Project:
    To assist with bonding and insurance requirements this project is estimated to cost around $2,700,000.00.
