Work Description:
Work to be done under this Contract comprises of the construction of a new entry kiosk to replace the existing one and associated site work at Pacific Rim Green Point Campground. Work to be performed under this Contract includes, but is not limited to, the provision of all labour, materials, services and equipment necessary for the demolition of existing entry kiosk, and construction of a new entry kiosk and associated on-site and civil work as fully described in the Tender Documents.

Site Visit:
Contractors are recommended to visit the site prior to submitting a tender for this work and to make inquiries or investigations necessaryto become thoroughly acquainted with the site as well as the nature and extent of the work. A site visit is scheduled on Tuesday, July 19th, 2016 at 10:00am local time, at the Pacific Rim Green Point Campground, located at 2039 Pacific Rim Highway, Ucluelet, BC. A maximum of two (2) representatives per bidder will be permitted to examine the sites. 

Contractors interested in attending the site visit should pre-register by close of business on Friday, July 15th, 2016 with the PWGSC Contracting Authority by e-mail: ken.ngan@pwgsc.gc.ca   

Delivery Date:
On-site work can begin starting October 11th, 2016. Stock pile of material can begin starting September 6th, 2016. The Contract Work is to be completed on or before March 31st, 2017.

Value of Project:
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements this project is estimated to cost around $550,000.00.

Firms intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain tender (solicitation) documents through Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders. Addenda, when issued will be available from Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders. Firms that elect to base their bids on tender (solicitation) documents obtained from other
sources do soat their own risk and will be solely responsible to inform the tender calling authority of their intention to bid. In all cases, bidders must indicate (when requested) in the space provided on the tender form the identification number(s)of the addenda,if any, that they have taken into consideration for their bid.
