    This requirement is subject to the following Comprehensive Land Claims Agreements (CLCAs):
    -Kwanlin Dun First Nation Final Agreement
    -Ta’an Kwach’an Council Final Agreement
    -Unbrella Final Agreement of the Council for Yukon Indians 
    
    Work Description:
    Work to be done under this Contract comprises of all labour and materials required to supply and install a new standby diesel generator, complete with associated systems including concrete pad, housekeeping pads, insulated enclosure, fuel delivery, controls, and testing/verifications at the Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) Whitehorse Complex, located at 91782 & 91780 Alaska Highway, Whitehorse, YT.  Work to be performed under this Contract includes, but is not limited to, the following:
    1.) Supply and install a new standby diesel generator, complete with associated systems including concrete pad, housekeeping pads, insulated enclosure, fuel delivery, controls, and testing/verifications.
    2.) Supply and install new distribution system for the Weather Offices and Combined Services Building. System to include: new automatic bypass isolation contactor based switch, standby generator and insulated enclosure, disconnects, CDP, utility and secondary metering, all cabling, conduits, trenching, terminations/connections and new fuel tank with connections. The new system should be connected to the existing fire alarm & security systems at the ECCC building.
    3.) Supply and install new utility connection to the generator enclosure.
    4.) Supply and install new distribution feeders to both the Weather Offices and Combined Services Building from the generator distribution centre.
    5.) Upon completion of the generator enclosure and new service feeders, decommission and remove existing utility service from the Weather Offices and Combined Services Building.
    
    Work will be performed in accordance with the contract schedules within the scope of work.
    
    Site Visit:
    Contractors are recommended to visit the site prior to submitting a tender for this work and to make inquiries or investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with the site as well as the nature and extent of the work. A site visit is scheduled on Thursday, December 15th, 2016 at 10:00am local time, at the Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) Whitehorse Complex, located at 91782 & 91780 Alaska Highway, Whitehorse, YT. A maximum of two (2) representatives per bidder will be permitted to examinethe sites. 
    
    Delivery Date:
    The work shall commence immediately upon official notification of acceptance of tender by the Contracting Authority and is to be completed within twenty-four (24) weeks from Contract Award.

    Value of Project:
    To assist with bonding and insurance requirements this project is estimated to cost around $450,000.00.
