Title: Navigational Aid Demolition Services

Location:   4 Sites around Kitimat, BC (Emilia Island, Gertrude Point, Keswar Point, Maitland Island)

Work Description:
Work to be done under this Contract includes, but is not limited to, the following:
1.) Mobilize to site with a work barge of appropriate size and certification;    
2.) Demolish and dispose existing navigational aids identified in the specifications document;
3.) Return the existing navigation aid equipment and materials above the concrete base, if present, including all lighting and electrical equipment to Canadian Coast Guard (CCG).
4.) Dispose of concrete foundations materials to a certified land based facility.
5.) Demobilize.

Work will be performed inaccordance with the contract schedules within the scope of work.

Site Visit:
There is NO scheduled site visit.

Delivery Date:
The work shall commence immediately upon official notification of acceptance of tender by the Contracting Authority andis to be completed by September 30th 2017.

Value of Project:
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements this project is estimated to cost around $100,000.00.

Firms intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain
tender (solicitation) documents through Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders. Addenda, when issued will be available from Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders. Firms that elect to base their bids on tender (solicitation) documents obtained from other
sources do so at their own risk and will be solely responsible to inform the tender calling authority of their intention to bid. In all cases, bidders must indicate (when requested) in the space provided on thetender form the identification number(s)of the addenda, if any, that they have taken into consideration for their bid.
