Work Description:
Work to be done under this Contract comprises of replacement of the existing exterior lighting (wall packs, down lights and pole lights) with new LED luminaires within the facility at Matsqui Complex, located at 33344 King Road, Abbotsford, BC. 

Work will be performed in accordance with the contract schedules within the scope of work.

Site Visit:
Contractors are recommended to visit the site prior to submitting a tender for this work and to make inquiries or investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with the site as well as the nature and extent of the work. A site visit is scheduled on Tuesday, November 28th, 2017 at 10:30am local time, at the PWGSC Site Office, at the Matsqui Institution, located at 33344 King Road, Abbotsford, BC. A maximum of two (2) representatives per bidder will be permitted to examine the sites. Contractors attending the site visit may be required to show one (1) piece of government issued ID, such as a Driver’s License.

All contractors must wear a high visibility vest, which meets WCB standards, for all site visits including a tender site visit.  No cameras, cell phones (of any type) or laptop computers are allowed into institutions at any time.

Delivery Date:
The work shall commence immediately upon official notification of acceptance of tender by the Contracting Authority and is to be completed within twelve (12) weeks from Contract Award.

Value of Project:
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements this project is estimated to cost around $550,000.00.
