    Work Description: 
    The Work consists of the construction of temporary buildings at the Port Hardy Airport Facility. 
    1. The Phase 2 and Phase 3 project consists of the construction of two separate temporary buildings at the Airport site. This will include temporary parking areas, and all required signage, as well as associated Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Landscape work.
    2. The Phase 2 - Transport Canada Administration Office Building construction consists of 2 custom prefabricated wood framed trailers to accommodate office space and associated concrete access ramps/stairs.
    3. The Phase 3 - Temp Air Terminal Building (ATB) construction consists of 3 custom prefabricated wood framed trailers, wood framed baggage shed, and associated concrete access ramps, handrails and canopies.
    4. Phase 2 and Phase 3 prefabricated buildings are to be designed by the contractor to meet the requirements stated in all drawings and specifications. For specific assembly information, see building assembly information on sheets 2-A0.01 and 3-A1.01. Also, refer to specification section 13 34 33 (Prefabricated Buildings) and section 13 34 23.01 (Prefabricated Buildings-Mechanical).
    
    Site Visit: 
    Contractors are strongly recommended to visit the site prior to submitting a tender for this work and to make inquiries or investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with the site as well as the nature and extent of the work.
    There is an optional site visit for prospective bidders on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at 11:00 am PDT at the Port Hardy Airport, Port Hardy, BC. Please meet at Maintenance Shop (on left driving into airport property / 4 large bay doors). Bidders attending the site visit must wear reflective high visibility vests.
    Bidders intending to attend the site visit shall notify the Contracting Officer at email ken.ngan@pwgsc.gc.ca prior to the date of the site visit. In case of postponement or cancellation, these prospective bidders will be notify by email.
    Delivery Date: 
    The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work within twenty-six (26) weeks of Contract award.
