Work Description:
Work to be done under this Contract generally comprises of:
- Civil Construction Services for provision of new security fencing at the Pacific Science Enterprise Centre in West Vancouver, BC. The Pacific Science Enterprise Centre is a Fisheries and Oceans Canada facility operated by its Real Property Branch. 

Work to be performed under this Contract includes, but is not limited to, the following:
1.) Remove and dispose of existing post and wire fencing and cantilever vehicle fence in areas noted on Civil Drawings.
2.) Install new security fencing as per Civil Drawings.

Work will be performed in accordance with the contract schedules within the scope of work.

Site Visit:
Contractors are strongly recommended to visit the site prior to submitting a tender for this work and to make inquiries or investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with the site as well as the nature and extent of the work.
There is an optional site visit for prospective bidders scheduled on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at 10:00 am PDT at the Pacific Science Enterprise Centre, located at 4160 Marine Drive, West Vancouver, BC.

Delivery Date:
The work shall commence immediately upon official notification of acceptance of tender by the Contracting Authority and is to be completed within eighteen (18) weeks from Contract Award.

Value of Project:
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements this project is estimated to cost between $100,001.00 to $500,000.00.

Firms that elect to base their bids on tender (solicitation) documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk and will be solely responsible to inform the tender calling authority of their intention to bid.
