paper version. Tenderers should note that Attachment  contains
the Drawings and Specifications Package (DSP) which consists of
PDF files organized in an industry recognized directory
structure.

Work Description:

Work under this Contract includes, but is not limited to, 
-Design the fire protection system and related items to current
floor plan
-Submit sealed drawings & hydraulic calculations for review and
obtain approval to proceed
-Modify existing and install new sprinkler fire protection
systems
-Provide power and air compressor and fire alarm connections
-Provide electrical sensors, fire alarm connections and fire
alarm necessary for new double-interlocked preaction system.
-Commission and test the sprinkler fire protection system and
related items
-Provide as-built drawings and close-out documents 

Work will be performed in accordance with the contract schedules
within the scope of work.

Site Visit:

Contractors are recommended to visit the site prior to
submitting a tender for this work and to make inquiries or
investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with
the site as well as the nature and extent of the work.
A site visit is scheduled for Wednesday, September 09, 2015 at
10:00. Bidders to meet at main entrance of Pacific Forestry
Centre, 506 West Burnside Road, Victoria, BC.

Delivery Date:

The work shall commence immediately upon official notification
of acceptance of tender by the Contracting Authority and is to
be completed within twelve (12) weeks of contract award.

Value of Project:

To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project
is estimated to cost between $100,000 and $150,000.
