Work Description:

Work under this Contract includes, but is not limited to Perimeter Fence upgrades at the following locations: 

Kent Institution, Agassiz, BC
Mountain Institution, Agassiz, BC
Mission Medium Institution, Mission, BC
Pacific Institution, Abbotsford, BC
Fraser Valley Institution, Abbotsford, BC
Matsqui Institution, Abbotsford, BC

Work will be performed in accordance with the contract  and as shown on th
e drawings.  

Site Visit:

Contractors are strongly recommended to visit the site prior to submitting a tender for this work and to make inquiries or investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with the site as well as the nature and extent of the work.

Site visits will be conducted at all locations and scheduled over two days.  

Day 1 : Wednesday October 14th @ 9:30am local time.  

Interested bidders are to meet at the PWGSC Site Office, Matsqui Complex,  33344 King Road, Abbotsford, BC.

Day 2:  Thursday October 15th @ 10:00am local time.  

Interested bidders are to meet at the PWGSC  Site Office, Kent Institution,  4732 Cemetery Road, Agassiz, BC.

Note:  All contractors must wear a high visibility vest, which meets WCB standards, for all site visits including a tender site visit. No cameras, cell phones (of any type) or lap top computers are allowed into institutions at any time.  All contractors attending the site visit must be able to provide a piece of Government issued photo identification at the reception in order to gain visitor access into institutions.

Delivery Date:

The work shall commence immediately upon official notification of acceptance of tender by the Contracting Authority and is to be completed within nineteen (19) weeks from Contract Award.

Value of Project:
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost between $525,000 and $625,000.
