    Work Description:
    
    The Work covers the following at the William Head Institution, Metchosin, BC.
    
    1.  Installation of new elastomeric coating over the existing structural metal roofing (the metal substrate will have to be treated as per requirements of the new coating manufacturer).
     
    - Also included in the project will be replacement of all roof system related sealants, replacement of corroded fasteners and other metal elements on as required basis, as well as improvement or repair of protrusion detailing.
    
    Work will be performed in accordance with the contract and as shown on the drawings.  
    
    Site Visit:
    
    Contractors are strongly recommended to visit the site prior to submitting a tender for this work and to make inquiries or investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with the site as well as the nature and extent of the work.
    
    A site visit is scheduled on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 @ 10:00 am local time.  Interested bidders are to meet at the William Head Institution - Main Boardroom in the Principal Entrance, 6000 William Head Rd, Victoria, BC.
    
    Note:  All contractors must wear a high visibility vest, which meets WCB standards, for all site visits including a tender site visit. No cameras, cell phones (of any type) or lap top computers are allowed into institutions at any time.  All contractors attending the site visit must be able to provide a piece of Government issued photo identification at the reception in order to gain visitor access into institutions.

    The work shall commence immediately upon official notification of acceptance of tender by the Contracting Authority and is to be completed within 11 weeks from Contract Award.
    
    Value of Project:
    
    To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost between $100,000.00 and $120,000.00
