Trade Agreement: Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT) Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: AEC 8 Landfill Capping EZ897-171554/A Arthur (PWY), Carolyn Email: Carolyn.Arthur@pwgsc.gc.ca Telephone No. - (604) 364-2752 ( ) Fax No. - (604) 775-6633 ( ) EZ897-171554A Arthur (PWY), Carolyn Telephone No. - (604) 364-2752 Fax No.- (604) 775-6633 Title: Watson Lake Airport AEC 8 Landfill Capping, Watson Lake, Yukon Location: Watson Lake, Yukon Work Description: Work to be performed under the Contract includes, but is not limited to, the following items, includingall ancillary Work, covered further in the Contract: • Pre-mobilization Submittals • Mobilization • Site Preparation • Site Facilities Provision • Site Facilities Operation • Standby Time • Fill and grade for drainage • Purchase, Transport andPlacement of Approved Subbase Material • Waste Oversize Debris Removal • Fill-Import • Purchase, Transport and Placement of Approved Liner • Re-vegetate construction area and Ditches supply hydroseed, straw matts or other material approved by the Departmental Representative • Exploratory Digging/Test Pitting • Non-Contaminated Material and Waste Transport • Site Restoration • Demobilization • Closeout Submittals Green Requirements: • Use only environmentally responsible green materials/products with no Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) emissions or minimum VOC emissions of indoor off-gassing contaminants for improved indoor air quality - subject of acceptance of Submittal of Materials Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) Product Data. • Use materials/products containing highest percentage of recycled and recovered materials practicable - consistent with maintaining cost effective satisfactory levels of competition. • Adhere to waste reduction requirement for reuse or recycling of waste materials, thus diverting materials from Landfill. Work will be performed in accordance with the contract and as shown on the drawings. Site Visit: Contractors are strongly recommended to visit the site prior to submitting a tender for this work and to make inquiries or investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with the site as well as the nature and extent of the work. Delivery Date: The work shall commence immediately upon official notification of acceptance of tender by the Contracting Authority and is to be completed by February 15, 2017 Value of Project: To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost between $275,000.00 and $325,000.00 Tender Enquiries: Carolyn Arthur, A/Supply Officer Tel: (604)364-2752 Email: Carolyn.Arthur@pwgsc.gc.ca Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
