Location:

Projects will be located in the following areas:

(Area 01): LAZO - Canadian Forces Base 19 Wing Comox 
(Area 02): COMOX - HMCS Quadra Cadet Quarters
(Area 03): HOLBERG - Detachment Holberg.Radar Site (approximately 330 km from Comox)
(Area 04): Seal Bay, BC
And any other remote sites at which the Officer Commanding, Detachment Comox, Real Property Operations (Pacific) determines work must be performed.
Work Description:

Work under this standing offer must consist of, but may not be limited to, the provision of all qualified electrical trades, labour, materials, tools, equipment, supervision and transportation required for electrical overhead and underground distribution, inspection and/or maintenance, on an as and when requested basis by Dept. Of National Defence, 19 Wing Comox, Lazo, BC during the period specified.  

THIS STANDING OFFER CONTAINS A SECURITY REQUIREMENT:

The Contractor/Offeror must, at all times during the performance of the Contract/Standing Offer, hold a valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS), issued by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD)/PWGSC.
The Contractor/Offeror personnel requiring access to sensitive work site(s) must EACH hold a valid RELIABILITY STATUS, granted or approved by CISD/PWGSC.
Period of Standing Offer:  

The period for placing call-ups against the Standing Offer shall be for a period of (3) years commencing from the start date identified on the Standing Offer to March 31, 2020.

It is anticipated that one (1) Standing Offer will be issued.  The combined total expenditure is $225,000.00 (Applicable taxes included).

Site Visit

Contractors are strongly recommended to visit the site prior to submitting a tender for this work and to make inquiries or investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with the site as well as the nature and extent of the work.
