    solicitation number EZ899-131705/A dated October 19, 2012 with a
    closing of November 9, 2012 at 2 P.M. PDT.

    Maintenance Garage Vehicle Exhaust Refit and Sprinklers

    Port Hardy Airport, Port Hardy, BC
    
    Work Description:
    Work under this contract covers alterations of existing Port
    Hardy Airport Maintenance Garage. 
    Work to be performed includes:
    1. 	New vehicle exhaust venhilation system
    2. 	New fire sprinkler system
    3. 	Marking locations and sizes of penetrations through roof and
    walls for inspection to determine if lead-based pain and
    asbestos materials are present
    4. 	Encapsulation or removal of lead-based paint and asbestos
    materials to accommodate Work. 
    
    Site Visit:
    There will be a site visit on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at
    10:00am. Interested bidders are to meet at the Airport Manager's
    Office, Port Hardy Airport, Port Hardy, B.C.
    
    Construction Time:
    The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work within six
    weeks from contract award.

    Value of Project:
    To assist with bonding and insurance requirements this project
    is estimated to cost between 
    $115,000.00 and $135,000.00.
    
    Firms intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain

    provider. Addenda, when issued will be available from the MERX
    service provider. Firms that elect to base their bids on tender
    (solicitation) documents obtained from other sources do so at
    their own risk and will be solely responsible to inform the
    tender calling authority of their intention to bid. In all
    cases, bidders must indicate (when requested) in the space
    provided on the tender form the identification number(s) of the
    addenda, if any, that they have taken into consideration for
    their bid.
