Title:
Resurfacing Concrete Channels

Location: 
Robertson Creek Hatchery, Port Alberni, BC

Work Description:
Work of this Contract comprises :
1) 	Abrasive blast clean each channel
2) 	Power wash each channel
3) 	Repair Damaged concrete
4) 	Grout/epoxy inject, and fill all cracks in the concrete
5) 	Fill eroded concrete surfaces
6) 	Repair and rebuild the expansion joints
7) 	Coat the ponds after filling

Mandatory Site Visit:
There will be a site visit on May 14, 2013 at 11am. Interested
bidders are to meet at the Robertson Creek Hatchery, at 10333-B
Central Lake Road, Port Alberni, B.C. V9Y 8Z2. The Robertson
Creek Hatchery is located northwest of Port Alberni. Take
highway #4 for 10 km, then turn right on Central Lake Road.
Continue along Central Lake Road for another 6.5 k, then turn
right on Fisheries Road. Continue along this road for 1 km until
Robertson Creek Hatchery is reached.

The site visit for this project is MANDATORY.  The
representative of the bidder will be required to sign the Site
Visit Attendance Sheet at the site visit. Bids submitted by
Bidders who have not signed the attendance sheet will not be
accepted.

Construction Time:
The Contractor shall complete the Work by September 30, 2013.

Value of Project:
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements this project
is estimated to cost between 
$425,000.00 and $475,000.00.

Firms intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain
tender (solicitation) documents through the MERX service
provider. Addenda, when issued will be available from the MERX
service provider. Firms that elect to base their bids on tender
(solicitation) documents obtained from other sources do so at
their own risk and will be solely responsible to inform the
tender calling authority of their intention to bid. In all
cases, bidders must indicate (when requested) in the space
provided on the tender form the identification number(s) of the
addenda, if any, that they have taken into consideration for
their bid.
