Title:  Convert Temporary Detention to Judicial Custody Unit

Location: Matsqui Institution, Abbotsford, BC

Work Description: 
Work under this contractcomprises interior renovation to convert existing classroom to interview rooms, including mechanical and electrical work and remedial work at the Matsqui Institution.

The Contractor will have controlled use of the immediate construction area for Work, storage, and access. Matsqui Institution and adjoining areas outside the Work area will be operational during this Contract. 

Site Visit: 
Contractors are strongly recommended to visit the site prior to submitting a tender for this work and to makeinquiries or investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with the site as well as the nature and extent of the work.

A site visit has been scheduled for 8 June 2016 at 9:30 AM. Contractors are to meet at the PWGSC site office located at theMatsqui Institution - 33344 King Road, Abbotsford, BC. 

Delivery Date: 
The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work within fourteen [14] weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer.

Value of Project: 
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost between 
$170,000 and $190,000.
