    Title:  Canopy Structure Coating Remediation 
    
    Location: Douglas Port of Entry, Surrey, BC
    
    Work Description: 
    Work of this contract comprises the coating remediation of the canopy structural steel and associated components of the Primary Inspection Line Canopy (PIL) and Secondary / Tertiary Inspection Area (SIA/TIA) Canopy at the Douglas Port of Entry. 
    
    Work to be performed includes:
    - Temporary removal and reinstallation of components
    - Fully enclosed hoarding with climatic control for remediation work
    - Phasing of work
    - Protection of existing adjacent finishes
    - PIL Canopy (10 lanes): structural steel coating remediation on all exposed faces including columns, pulins, beams, members, braces, rods, plates bench supports
    - SIA/TIA Canopy (15 SIA lanes, SIA entry and TIA canopy): structural steel coating remediation including columns, purlins, beams, members,plates, bench supports, pedestrian screen frame (top rail only), and fire suppression piping and connections
    
    Site Visit: 
    There will be a site visit on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at 10:00 AM. Interested bidders are to meet at the Douglas Port of Entry Main Traffic Building, located at 220 Highway 99, Surrey, British Columbia. Bidders are to take the elevator up to the second floor and report to the receptionist for access to the East side boardroom. Bidders are to bring and wear safety vests on thesite visit.
    
    Delivery Date: 
    The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work by May 10, 2017.

    Value of Project: 
    To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost between 
    $800,000 and $850,000.
