    Title:  Catamaran Breakwater Installation 
    
    Location: Bella Coola Small Craft Harbour, Bella Coola, BC
    
    Work Description: 
    In general, work consists of supply of specific mooring materials and heavy marine construction for installation and/or relocation of floating breakwaters. Heavy marine construction shall be performed using superintendent, heavy equipment, bridgeman crew and dive crew daily rentals. 
    
    Heavy marine construction work may include: 
    1. Anchor placement - lifting and placing up to two 5 tonne anchor blocks (10 tonnes) at a time
    2. Anchor load testing up to 7.5 tonnes in-line load
    3. Anchor relocation
    4. Mooring line rigging (rope and/or chain)
    5. Mooring line installation
    6. Kellet installation (standard lock blocks attached to mooring lines)
    7. Mooring line tensioning up to 5 tonne in-line load
    8. Mooring line load testing up to 5 tonne in-line load
    9. Breakwater relocation (catamaran or existing breakwater structures)
    10. Breakwater modifications (catamaran or existing breakwater structures)
    
    Site Visit: 
    There will be no site visit scheduled.
    
    Contractors are strongly recommended to visit the site prior to submitting a tender for this work and to make enquiries or investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with the site as well as the nature and extent of the work.
    
    Delivery Date: 
    The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work by January 31, 2017.

    Value of Project: 
    To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost between 
    $325,000 and $375,000.
