TITLE: Construction Services - Electrical Standing Offer

LOCATION: Various Locations in the Fraser Valley, BC 

WORK DESCRIPTION:
The purpose of the Electrical Contractor Standing Offer is for low dollar construction, O&M-related work and urgent repair work, as and when required, at the following Correctional Service Canada Institutions;
• Mission Medium Institution, Mission BC
• Mission Minimum Institution, Mission BC
• Mountain Institution, Agassiz BC
• Kent Institution, Agassiz BC
• Kwìkwèxwelhp Healing Village, Harrison Mills BC
• Matsqui Institution, Abbotsford BC 
• Pacific Institution, Abbotsford BC
• Fraser Valley Institution, Abbotsford BC
• Chilliwack Community Corrections Centre, Chilliwack BC 

PERIOD OF STANDING OFFER: Two (2) years

If the Standing Offer is authorized for use beyond the initial period, the Offeror offers to extend its offer for an additional one year period, under the same conditions and at the rates or prices specified in the Standing Offer, or at the rates or prices calculated in accordance with the formula specified in the Standing Offer.

It is anticipated that two (2) standing offer(s) will be issued.
The total expenditure of the standing offer is $800,000.00 (GST excluded).

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:
There will be a site visit on November 7, 2017 at 9:30 am. Interested bidders are to meet at the PWGSC Site Office at the Kent Institution located at 4732 Cemetery Road, Agassiz, B.C. The site visit will also include visits at Mission Institution and Matsqui Institution.

All contractors must wear a high visibility vest, which meets WCB (WorkSafe BC) standards, for all site visits including this solicitation site visit. No cameras, cell phones (of any type) or lap top computers are allowed into institutions at any time. All contractors attending the site visit must to able to provide a piece of Government issued photo identification at the reception in order to gain visitor access into institutions.
