    Note to Tenderers:
    Drawings and Specifications are now available for viewing and
    downloading in a Portable Document Format (PDF) or in a standard
    paper version. Tenderers should note that Attachment 1 (ATT 1)
    contains the Drawings and Specifications Package (DSP) which
    consists of PDF files organized in an industry recognized
    directory structure.
    
    Work Description: 
    Work under this contract includes but is not limited to the
    relocation of the existing maintenance building and above ground
    power line, remedial excavation of petroleum-hydrocarbon (PHC)
    contaminated soil and placement in the on-site Biocell, and
    offsite disposal of metals-impacted soil at the Iron Creek
    Maintenance Camp (the site) on the Alaska Highway owned by Public
    Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) (the Site Owner).
    
    The Iron Creek Maintenance Camp (ICMC) is located at Kilometre
    922 of the Alaska
    Highway, Yukon Territory (YT).
    
    The building relocation and utility re-routing will be completed
    first, followed by the
    excavation, screening and placement of the PHC contaminated soil
    in the on-site Biocell.
    Some metals contaminated soil at the site will require offsite
    disposal at a permitted
    Landfill.
    
    
    Mandatory Site Visit:
    There will be a MANDATORY site visit on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at
    10:30am. Interested bidders are to meet at the Iron Creek
    Maintenance Camp, Kilometre 922 on the Alaska Highway, YT - meet
    at western site boundary, north of trailers (shown on drawings).
    
    ** The Iron Creek Maintenance Camp is located at km 922 of the
    Alaska Hwy, approximately 5 hrs northwest of Fort Nelson and
    approximately 50 minutes prior to reaching Watson Lake**
    
    Interested bidders are responsible for making their own travel
    arrangements.
    
    Interested bidders should wear personal protective equipment
    (such as:  hardhat, high visibility vest, work boots) to the
    site visit.
    
    Interested bidders who intend on attending the site visit are to
    provide their name(s) and company name(s) to Patty Liu at
    Patty.Liu@pwgsc.gc.ca no later than 24 hours prior to the site
    visit.
    
    The site visit for this project is MANDATORY.  The
    representative of the bidder will be required to sign the Site
    Visit Attendance Sheet at the site visit. Bids submitted by
    Bidders who have not signed the attendance sheet will not be
    accepted.

    Value of Project: 
    To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project
    is estimated to cost between 
    900,000.00 to 1,200,000.00.
    
    Firms intending to submit tenders for this project should obtain

    services provider. Firms that elect to base their bid on tender
    (solicitation) documents obtained from other sources do so at
