Title:  AAFC Building Demolition Project
Location:  Agassiz, BC


Work Description: 
Work under this Contract covers:

1.  Demolish the following structures at 9670 Chaplin Rd,
Agassiz, BC as shown in the Appendices and as specified herein:
	1.  Residential Building 40
	2.  Storage Building 41

2.  Including but not limited to:
	1.  Demolish basement, foundations complete and dispose all
building materials from site
	2.  Remove and dispose all Mechanical and Electrical equipment
and services
	3.  Remove and dispose sidings, windows, doors and interior
coverings and finishes
	4.  Remove and dispose structural; (wood) framing

3.  Locate the septic tank associated with Building 40, remove
sewerage and sludge and dispose off-site.  Remove and dispose
the septic tank and all underground piping.

4.  Terminate and cap all utility services associated with the
buildings to be demolished.

5.  Remove and dispose all debris, waste and redundant utility
services within 15 meters of the Buildings.

6.  Restore site and excavated areas with compacted backfill,
grading and natural vegetation.

7.  Building 42 and its connected utility services are to remain
un-touched and protected from damage in the demolition of
adjacent Building 41.

Optional Site Visit:
A site visit has been arranged for February 10, 2015 at 10:00am
PST at the Pacific Agri-Food Research Centre,  6947 #7 Highway,
Agassiz, BC.  Interested Bidders are to meet in the lobby.

Delivery Date: 
Complete the demolition and site restoration works within 8
weeks of Contract Award

Value of Project: 
To assist with insurance requirements, this project is estimated
to cost between $60,000.00 to $65,000.00.
