Title:  EGD General Electrical Maintenance SOA
Location:  Esquimalt Graving Dock, Victoria, BC

Work Description: 
Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC), Esquimalt
Graving Dock (EGD), is inviting Offerors to submit bids for the
Electrical Standing Offer.  The selected offeror shall provide
all labour, materials, tools, equipment, supervision and
transportation required for general electrical maintenance,
repair, modifications, and minor electrical services as and when
requested by PWGSC, EGD, Victoria, BC.

It is PWGSC's intention to authorize one (1) Standing Offer, for
a period of three (3) years.  The total dollar value of the
Standing Offer is estimated to be $840,000.00 GST incl. 
Individual call-ups will vary, up to a maximum of $80,000.00
(GST incl).  Offerors should note that there is no guranantee
that the full or any amount of the Standing Offer will be
called-up.  PWGSC will issue call-ups only when the specific
services to be provided under the Standing Offer are needed.

The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Agreement on
Internal Trade (AIT).


Optional Site Visit:
Contractors are strongly recommended to visit the site prior to
submitting a tender for this work and to make inquiries or
investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with
the site as well as the nature and extent of the work.

A site visit is scheduled on  March 13, 2105 at 10:00 am  PDST. 
Interested contractors are to meet at the PWGSC Project Trailer
located at 825 Admirals Road, Victoria, BC.  

Interested contractors are required to provide their name(s) and
company name(s) to Patty Liu (604) 775-6227 or
patty.liu@pwgsc.gc.ca by  March 12, 2015 2:00 pm  PDST if you
will be attending the site visit.  The front gate commissinaire
will only allow access to the site if previous visitor
information is provided and names appear on the visitor list.  

Contractors are reminded that the Esquimalt Graving Dock is a
heavy industrial site and WCB approved hard hats and safety
footwear must be worn for the site visit

Security Requirement:
	The Contractor/Offeror must, at all times during the
performance of the Contract/Standing Offer, hold a valid
Designated Organization Screening (DOS), issued by the Canadian
Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Works and
Government Services Canada (PWGSC).

	The Contractor/Offeror personnel requiring access to sensitive
work site(s) must EACH hold a valid RELIABILITY STATUS, granted
or approved by CISD/PWGSC.
	
	Until the security screening of the Contractor personnel
required by this Contract has been completed satisfactorily by
the CISD, PWGSC, the Contractor personnel MAY NOT ENTER sites
without an escort.

	Subcontracts which contain security requirements are NOT to be
awarded without the prior written permission of CISD/PWGSC.

	The Contractor/Offeror must comply with the provisions of the:
	(a) Security Requirements Check List and security guide (if
applicable), attached at Annex A;
	(b) Industrial Security Manual (Latest Edition).

from Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders. Firms that elect to base their
proposals on tender (solicitation) documents obtained from other
sources do so at their own risk and will be solely responsible
