    Work Description:
    Contractor must provide personnel with appropriate experience in remediating contaminated materials.  Contractor to provide specialized material handling, health and safety, and environmental protection procedures.  Work to be performed under the Contract includes, but is not limited to, the following items, including all ancillary Work, covered further in the Contract:
    • Pre-mobilization submittals
    • Mobilization
    • Site and Ground surface Preparation
    • Monitoring Well Decommissioning
    • Traffic Control
    • Test Pitting
    • Site Facilities Provision
    • Site Facilities Operation
    • Temporary Site Fencing
    • Survey
    • Standby Time
    • Waste Oversize Debris Removal and Disposal.  Includes concrete, 
    metal, asbestos containing pipe
    • Access Road Maintenance
    • Water Management - Equipment
    • Water Management - Disposal
    • Contaminated Material (Waste Quality) - Excavate, Transport (to LTF),

    Mandatory Site Visit:
    Bidders attendance at site visit for this project is MANDATORY.  The representative(s) of the Bidder will be required to sign the attendance sh
    
    eet at the site visit.  Bids submitted by Bidders who have not attended 
    
    and signed the attendance sheet will not be accepted.  
    
    Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held on August 16, 
    
    
    2017  3:00pm PDST.   Bidders interested in AEC 32 are asked to meet at the Watson Lake Airport Terminal Building (located off the Robert Campbell Hwy), YK.
    Bidders are responsible for making their own travel arrangements.
    
    Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority, Patty Yi at patty.yi@pwgsc.gc.ca or (778) 919-2578 no later than 24 hours prior to the site visit to confirm attendance.  Bidders should provide, in writing, to the Contracting Authority, the names of the person(s) who will be attending.
     
    Any clarifications or changes to the solicitation documents resulting from the mandatory site visit will be included as an amendment/addendum to the so
    
    licitation documents. Submissions provided by Bidders who did not 
    attend the mandatory site visit and did not sign the attendance forms will be considered non-responsiveand will not be considered further in th
    
    e bidding process.
    
    Completion Date:
    Completion of the Work: no later than 2017 December 31. Includes all final Submittals including as-built documents, the Certificate of Completion, and the Statutory Declaration at Final Completion.
