    Note to Tenderers:
    Drawings and Specifications are now available for viewing and
    downloading in a Portable Document Format (PDF) or in a standard
    paper version. Tenderers should note that Attachment  contains
    the Drawings and Specifications Package (DSP) which consists of
    PDF files organized in an industry recognized directory
    structure.
    
    Work Description:
    Work under this Contract covers
    
    1) Demolish the following structures at 6947 Lougheed Highway,
    Agassiz, BC as shown in the Appendices and as specified herein:
    
    A) Residential Building 6 and Garage 6A
    B) PumpStation Building 53 and Reservoir
    
    2) Including but not limited to:
    
    A) Demolish basement, foundations and concrete reservoir and
    dispose all building 		materials from site.
    B) Remove and dispose all structures, walls, floors and roofs
    including sidings, windows, 	doors and interior coverings and
    finishes.
    C) Remove and dispose all Mechanical and Electrical Equipment
    and services.
    D) Locate the septic tank associated with Building 6, remove
    sewerage and sludge and dispose off-site. Remove and dispose the
    septic tank and all underground piping.
    E) Remove and dispose all water pipes from Pump Shelters 53A and
    B to Building 53 and Reservoir and up to the first shut off
    valve. Ensure current underground water distribution on
    municipal supply pipes are not affected.
    F) Terminate and cap all utility services and pipes associated
    with the buildings to be demolished.
    G) Remove and dispose all debris, waste within 15 meters of the
    Buildings.
    H) Restore site and excavated areas with compacted backfill,
    grading and natural vegetation.
    I) Shelters 53A and B, the water pumps and wells there-in are
    not to be removed.
    
    Site Visit:
    Bidders are strongly recommended to visit the site prior to
    submitting a tender for this work and to make inquiries or
    investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with
    the site as well as the nature and extent of the work. 
    
    A site visit will be held on the following date and time: 
    
    Date: September 30, 2015 
    Time: 10:00 a.m PDT
    Location: Pacific Agri-Food Research Centre at 6847 Lougheed
    Highway in Agassiz, B.C. Bidders are to meet at the main
    lab/office building. Visitor parking is available.
    
    Instructions: Interested bidders are required to provide their
    name(s) and company names to Tian Lam at
    tian.lam@pwgsc-tpsgc.gc.ca no later than 24 hours prior to the
    site visit. 
    
    Delivery Date: 
    The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work within eight
    [8] weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the
    offer.
    
    Value of Project: 
    To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project
    is estimated to cost around 
    $100,000 to $200,000.
