Depth Reclamation & Bituminous Surface Treatment

Location:  Km 206 to Km 968, Alaska Highway, BC


Work Description: 
Work under this contract consists of, but is not limited to:

1.  Pulverizing bituminous surface treatment and base course
material.
2.  Blending, shaping and compacting pulverized material.
3.  Applying bituminous surface treatment.
4.  Crushing, hauling and stockpiling 12.5mm and 20.0mm
bituminous surface aggregate (BSTA) in pit at km 366.6 on the
Alaska Highway, B.C. Drawing R.017174.014-01 shows pit location,
haul distances and quantities.
5.  No separate payment for hauling aggregates to stockpile.

Work is located between Km 204 and Km 968 Alaska Highway, BC. 
Fort Nelson, BC is at Km 455.

Site Visit:
Contractors are strongly recommended to visit the site prior to
submitting a tender for this work and to make enquiries or
investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with
the site as well as the nature and extent of the work.

Delivery Date: 
Work is to be completed by September 01, 2014.

Value of Project: 
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project
is estimated to cost between 
5,000,000.00 to 5,600,000.00.
