Title:  
Stockpiled Soil Disposal

Location: 
Pacific Environmental Centre Site, West Vancouver, BC

Work Description: 
Theproject comprises of stockpiled soil of varying environmental quality to be loaded, transported, and disposed at a permitted off-site disposal facility. Work to be performed under the contract includes, but is not limited to:

-Health and safety and environmental protection at site
-Prepare site for work, including on site weight scale and temporary office facilities for Contractor, Departmental Representative and consultants
-Strip the overgrown vegetation from the stockpiles requiring disposal and stockpile onsite at a location determined by the Departmental Representative
-Transport contaminated waste to a disposal facility
-Dispose of contaminated waste at a disposal facility for final disposal

Site Visit: 
Contractors are strongly recommended to visit the site prior to submitting a tender for this work and to make inquiries or investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with the site as well as the nature and extent of the work.

There is an optional site visit for prospective bidders on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 from 10:00am PST to 11:00 PST at the Pacific Environmental Centre, West Vancouver, BC. The meeting point is at the Muster Point as shown on Drawing 2.

All contractors must wear personal protection equipment (steel toe shoes required) which meets WCB standards.

Delivery Date: 
The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work by March 31, 2017.

Value of Project: 
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost between 
$1,500,000 to $1,600,000.
