Title:  
Non-Structural Crack Sealing

Location: 
Km 485 to Km 968, Alaska Highway, BC

Work Description: 
The Work comprises of crack sealing various locations from km 485 to km 968 of the Alaska Highway, BC. The City of Fort Nelson is located at km 455; Watson Lake is located at km 976.

The Work includes, but is not limited to the following:
-Repairing transverse and longitudinal cracks on road top of bituminous surface treatments.
-Contractor will clean all defects of all rock, dirt, sand or other objectionable material.
-Contractor will apply asphalt binder as a track material filling with a mixture of asphalt binder and crushed aggregate.
-Contract shall compact applied Mix.
-Contractor will obtain crushed aggregate from a source outside of the jurisdiction of the Alaska Highway.
-Contractor shall supply and maintain traffic control of the work.
-Contractor shall provide daily records of the amount of oil sprayed, cubic metres of gravel used, and lineal metres compacted.

Site Visit: 
There will be NO SCHEDULED SITE VISIT.  However, contractors are encouraged to view the site on their own.

Delivery Date: 
The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work by September 15, 2017.

Value of Project: 
To assist with insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost between $475,000 to $525,000.
