Public tender openings will be suspended until further notice. Following solicitation closing, bid results will be recorded and may be obtained by e-mailing a request to the address indicated in the Invitation to Tender. Please monitor Buyandsell.gc.ca closely as changes to bid closing dates may be necessary. Title: Installation of new Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) Systems Location: Kingsgate Port of Entry, 6917 Highway 95, Kingsgate, BC Work Description: Work of this Contract comprises installation of a new UPS systems, demolition of the old equipment and coordination with the clients and site users. Work to be performed under this Contract includes, but is not limited to, the following items -Retrofit of existing low voltage Panelboards with new breakers, feeders and junction boxes -Installation of new UPS units in existing recycling room. -Installation of new chain link fence with gate access in existing recycling room to house new UPS unit. -Installation of new UPS panel installed in Main Port Building electrical room. -Installation of new UPS panel installed in Commercial Building Electrical room. -Installation of new mechanical air conditioning system for cooling the UPS alcove c/w housekeeping pad. -Relocation of existing circuits from current electrical panels to new UPS panel. -Relocation of existing Pil Booth panel feeders to new UPS Panel. -Installation of new Pil Booth AC units feeders from existing electrical panels. -Installation of new receptacles in the Main Port Building IT room from the new UPS panel. -Demolition of all duct, conduit, cables and equipment made redundant during this upgrade. -Demolition of existing force flow heater in existing recycling room. -Installation of new split AC unit. -Coordination and standby power to maintain site operations and minimize disruption. -Arc Flash Analysis -Demonstration and training of personnel as directed by the Departmental Representative. Site Visit: There is no site visit scheduled for this solicitation. However, interested bidders may schedule one upon request by contacting the Contracting Authority at Janie.Leung@pwgsc.gc.ca. Delivery Date: The Contractor shall perform and complete the work within fourteen (14) weeks of Contract Award. Value of Project: To assist with insurance and bonding requirements, this project is estimated to cost between $100,001 to $500,000. Firms intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain tender (solicitation) documents through Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders. Addenda, when issued will be available from Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders. Firms that elect to base their bids on tender (solicitation) documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk and will be solely responsible to inform the tender calling authority of their intention to bid.
