    Two Phase Selection Process:
    This is the first phase (Phase One) of a two-phase competition. The first phase will evaluate the qualifications of all bidders. The second phase, (Phase Two), will invite the qualified bidders to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. Upon award of a contract in Phase Two, the pre-qualification list resulting from the first phase will expire and will not be used in any other solicitation.

    Work Description:
    Work under this Contract comprises construction at the Depart of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO)Cultus Lake Fisheries Laboratory and at the Cultus Lake Park in Cultus Lake, British Columbia. Work includes supply and installation of new sewerage system components including gravity collection piping, forcemain piping, manholes, pumps, wet well, connection to existing standby generator, electrical controls and programming.
    
    Work to be performed under this Contract includes, but is not limited to, the following items covered further in the Contract documents:
    .1 Supply and install 200mm diameter PVC sewerage collection gravity piping on the Cultus Lake Fisheries Laboratory property, including required cleanouts and manholes.
    .2 Supply and install 100mm diameter DR17 sanitary forcemain piping from the pump station to the collection manhole.
    .3 Supply and install a pre-fabricated wet well complete with pumps and valves.
    .4 Supply and install fiberglass reinforced plastic valve chamber with associated equipment.
    .5 Supply and install 200mm diameter SDR35 PVC sewerage collection piping with associated manholes, connecting to the existing Fraser Valley Regional District sanitary distribution box.
    .6 Testing and commissioning of all equipment.
    .7 Complete site restorations to equal or better condition to the complete satisfaction of the Departmental Representative.
    .8 Provide the Departmental Representative with all test reports and final Documentation.
    
    Site Visit: 
    There is no site visit scheduled for this solicitation.
    
    Delivery Date: 
    The Contractor must perform and complete the Work by February 28, 2023.
    
    Value of Project: 
    To assist with insurance and bonding requirements, this project is estimated to cost between $500,001 to $1,000,000.
