Trade Agreement: Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT) Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: EZ113-171168/A Huchzermyer (PWY), Chris Telephone No. (604) 365-2956 Fax No. (604) 775-6633 Chris.Huchzermyer@pwgsc-tpsgc.gc.ca Title: Muncho Lake Maintenance Camp Remediation Location: Muncho Lake Maintenance Camp KM 698 Alaska Highway, BC Work Description: Work under the Contract covers remediation of contaminated material by excavation and placement in offsite Public Works owned Soil Treatment Facility and/or offsite disposal. - Work to be performed under the Contract includes, but is not limited to, the following items covered further in the Contract: - Plan excavation, including geotechnical design as required. - Planning, preparation, construction and closure of Owner Soil Treatment Facility. - Design and operate Contaminated Water Treatment Plant. - Remove and replace existing infrastructure. - Excavate Non-Contaminated Material. - Excavate Contaminated Material. - Backfill excavation with clean imported fill material. - Load and transport Contaminated Material and Non-Contaminated Material to a Treatment Facility as applicable and a Disposal Facility for final disposal. - Restore Site to pre-existing conditions. Site Visit: Contractors are strongly recommended to visit the site prior to submitting a tender for this work and to make inquiries or investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with the site as well as the nature and extent of the work. A site visit is scheduled on Monday, September 12, 2016 and will be conducted at two different locations. 4:30 - 5:15pm, Muncho Lake Maintenance Camp (KM698) and 5:30 - 5:45pm at Gravel Pit (KM713). Interested bidders are to meet at the Muncho Lake Maintenance Camp Site Entrance at 4:30pm. Bidders must wear personal protective equipment (high visibility vest, steel toe work boots, and hard hats) to the site visit.
