This procurement is subject to the Tr'ondëk Hwëch'in Final Agreement.

Work Description: 
Work involves replacement of an existing fire suppression system and parts of the fire alarm system throughout multiple levels of the SS Keno National Historic Site.  Work is to be done in a manner that protects the heritage value of the historical asset.

Work to be performed under this Contract includes, but is not limited to, the following items:
1: Removal of the existing automatic fire sprinkler system (the demolition work includes hazardous materials abatement)
2: Installation of new automatic fire sprinkler system
3:  Replacement of fire alarm panel and pull stations
4:  Other fire alarm upgrades and minor siteworks to accommodate proposed construction.

Site Visit: 
Contractors are strongly recommended to visit the site prior to submitting a tender for this work and to make inquiries or investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with the site as well as the nature and extent of the work.

There is an optional site visit scheduled for Tuesday May 01, 2018 at 10:00 AM PDST.  Bidders are to meet the Parks Canada Representative at the SS Keno National Historic Site located at 1025 Front Street, Dawson City, YT.

Delivery Date: 
The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work within sixteen (16) weeks of Contract award.

Value of Project: 
To assist with insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost between $475,000.00 and $550,000.00.
