    Work Description:
    Work to be performed includes, but is not limited to, the provision of all labour, materials, services and equipment necessary for the following items covered further in the Contract documents:
    
    1. Supply and construction steel pipe piles including concrete pile caps and miscellaneous components.
    2. Replace existing underground mechanical pipes with hangers anchored into existing floor slab to support new pipes. Temporary locally remove and reinstate floor slab for underground piping upgrade as required.
    3. Remove and replace existing perimeter drainage pipes to accommodate the new pile caps.
    4. Remove and replace existing methane gas migration system.
    
    Site Visit: 
    Contractors are recommended to make inquiries necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with the nature and extent of the work.
    
    An optional site visit is scheduled on Wednesday, May 23rd, 2018 at 10:00 AM local time, at Mountain Institution, located at 4732 Cemetery Road, Agassiz, BC.  A maximum of two (2) representatives per bidder will be permitted to examine the site.  Contractors attending the site visit are required to show one (1) piece of government issued ID, such as a Driver’s License.
    
    All contractors must wear a high visibility vest, which meets WCB standards, for all site visits including a tender site visit.  No cameras, cell phones (of any type) or laptop computers are allowed into institutions at any time.
    
    Delivery Date: 
    The Contractor shall perform and complete the work within 26 weeks of Contract award.
    
    Value of Project: 
    To assist with insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost between $3,250,000.00 and $4,000,000.00.
