Trade Agreement: CETA / WTO-AGP / NAFTA / CFTA / FTAs with Peru / Colombia / Panama / Korea Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Annual Elevating Devices Safety Inspections EZ899-190463/A Costa (PWY), Michaela Telephone No. - (236) 888-7800 Email: michaela.costa@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca TITLE: Annual Elevating Devices Safety Inspections LOCATION: Various Locations, B.C WORK DESCRIPTION Work under this contract comprises of annual Safety Inspections of approximately one hundred and thirty two (132) elevating devices in Federal Government owned facilities occupied by Public Service employees throughout the Province of British Columbia. The work will be performed in accordance the Statement of Work/Specifications. CONTRACT PERIOD: The period of the contract is three (3) years from date of award. If the contract is extended beyond the initial period, the Contractor grants to Canada the irrevocable option to extend the term of the Contract by up to two (2) additional one (1) year periods under the same conditions. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS Qualifications: The Bidder must provide a copy of the proposed Inspector’s qualified Elevator Inspector certificate, such as NAESA International QEI, Safety Codes Officer Level 2 (Safety Codes Council or Alberta), certified licensed Safety Officer-Elevator by the BC Safety Authority, or equivalent. Work references: Provide two work references, and include details and scope of elevator inspector work performed. Include a list of names, and phone numbers or emails of references. Proof of elevator inspector certification: Attach legible copies of pertinent certificates or diplomas. Certificate must be current, and kept validated throughout the contract period. SECURITY REQUIREMENTS: 1. The Contractor/Offeror must, at all times during the performance of the Contract/Standing Offer, hold a valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS), issued by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC). 2. The Contractor/Offeror personnel requiring access to sensitive work site(s) must EACH hold a valid RELIABILITY STATUS, granted or approved by CISD/PWGSC. 3. Subcontracts which contain security requirements are NOT to be awarded without the prior written permission of CISD/PWGSC. 4. The Contractor/Offeror must comply with the provisions of the: a) Security Requirements Check List; b)Industrial Security Manual (Latest Edition).
