    Work Description:
    
    Work under this contract comprises, but is not limited to, the provision of all labour, materials, services and equipment necessary for the renovation of the office in the administrative building.  This will generally include electrical work, installation of a security barrier, flooring and door assembly and painting as fully described in the Tender Documents.  Work will be performed during normal business hours of the Institution, 0730 to 1600, Monday through Friday.  Any work to be done outside of those hours must be arranged in advance with the Departmental Representative.  
    
    Mandatory Site Visit:
    
    There will be a mandatory site visit to ensure Contractors are thoroughly acquainted with the site as well as the nature and extent of the work.
    
    There will be a site visit on June 1, 2018 at 10:00 am local time.  Interested bidders are to meet at the PSPC Site office at the Mission Medium Institution, 8751 Stave Lake Street, Mission, BC  V2V 4L8.  
    All contractors must wear a high visibility vest, which meets WCB (WorkSafe BC) standards, for all site visits including this solicitation site visit. No cameras, cell phones (of any type) or lap top computers are allowed into institutions at any time. All contractors attending the site visit must to able to provide a piece of Government issued photo identification at the reception in order to gain visitor access into institutions.
    
    Delivery Date:
    The Contractor must perform and complete the Work within sixteen (16) weeks from the date of notification of offer.
    
    Value of Project:
    
    To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost between $210,000.00 and $270,000.00.
