Line 1, Mount Gil Building Foundations

Work Description:
Work of this contract comprises the construction of reinforced concrete footings to support a new building on an existing Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) remote radio site on Mount Gil, BC.  Work includes:
• Excavation and site preparation as required for construction;
• Construction of ten reinforced concrete pier foundations.


Work Location:
The foundation piers will be constructed on Gil Island which is approximately 90km SW of Kitimat, BC.  The location is remote and accessed by helicopter only. 

Delivery Date:
Complete all work associated with the project by October 31, 2019. 


Site Visit: 
There is no scheduled site visit. However, it is recommended that bidders make inquiries or investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with the site, as well as the nature and extent of the work.


Value of Project:
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements this project is estimated to cost between $100,001.00 - $500,000.00.
