    Work Covered by Contract
    The work to be performed includes, but not limited to, the following items, including all ancillary Work: 
    - Site Access Restrictions
    - Neighboring or sensitive sites restriction
    - Classes of Soil based on Environmental Quality Criteria
    - Soil classification based on  insitu testing, exsitu testing may be required 
    - Treatment of Contaminated Water Onsite, not anticipated but if deemed necessary, the contractor is responsible for discharge permit
    - Treatment of Contaminated Water Offsite, not anticipated but if deemed necessary, the contractor is responsible for transport and treatment
    - Excavation of Contaminated Soil 
    - Transportation of Contaminated Soil to facilities
    - Disposal of Contaminated Soil
    
    
    Optional Site Visit
    As part of the tender process, an optional online orientation is scheduled for Thursday, July 16, 2020 at 10:30 am PDT.  We encourage all bidders to attend this online meeting.
    
    You may attend either by phone (audio) or by computer (audio and/or video), though we recommend you take advantage of the video as we will present visuals.
    
    The details for logging in to this meeting will be made available to all bidders who express an interest in attending by contacting the Contracting Authority before 4:00 pm PDT on July 15, 2020.

    Completion of the Work 
    No later than December 31, 2020. Includes all final Submittals including as-built documents, the Certificate of Completion, and the Statutory Declaration at Final Completion.
    
    Value of Project:
    To assist with bonding and insurance requirements this project is estimated to cost between $100,001 to $500,000. 
    
    Firms intending to submit proposals on this project should obtain documents through Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders. Addenda, when issued will be available from Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders.  Firms that elect to base their proposal on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk and will be solely responsible to inform the tender calling authority of their intention to bid.
