Title:  RISO - Plumbing and Gas Fitting

Location: 
Work is to be performed at various facilities, and grounds located within the Department of National Defence - Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Esquimalt, Victoria, BC and Satellite Bases. 

This includes, but is not limited to:

1. Ashton Armories
2. Bay Street Armories
3. Belmont Park
4. Colwood
5. Dockyard
6. HMCS Malahat
7. Masset
8. Naden
9. Nanoose
10. Pat Bay
11. Rocky Point
12. Work Point Barracks

Work Description: 
As and when requested, the work under this Standing Offer consists of inspections, maintenance and repairs, as well as replacement of plumbing systems, gas fitting systems, piping and gas fired equipment and associated components. The work also includes work on pumps, compressors and flow testing. 

Period of the Standing Offer:
The anticipated start date of the Standing Offer is August 1st, 2019. The period for placing call-ups against the Standing Offer shall be for three (3) years commencing from the start date identified on the Standing Offer, with two (2) options to extend the Standing Offer, each for an additional consecutive twelve (12) month period, under the same terms and conditions contained in the Standing Offer. 

It is to be noted that Canada is not obliged to exercise these two (2) options. The exercise of any option will be at Canada's sole discretion, by providing notification in writing to the Offeror at least thirty (30) days prior to the Contract expiry date or the expiry date of an exercised option period. 

Value of Project: 
It is anticipated that up to two (2) standing offers will be issued. The total expenditure of the standing offer is $1,995,000.00 (GST/HST included). 

Firms intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain tender (solicitation) documents through Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders. Addenda, when issued will be available from Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders. Firms that elect to base their bids on tender (solicitation) documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk and will be solely responsible to inform the tender calling authority of their intention to bid. 

THIS STANDING OFFER CONTAINS A SECURITY REQUIREMENT: 

1. The Offeror must, at all times during the performance of the Contract/Standing Offer, hold a valid Facility Security Clearance at the level of Secret issued by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD);

and 

2. The Offeror personnel requiring access to sensitive work site(s) must EACH hold a valid personnel security screening at the level of Reliability status or personnel security screening at the of SECRET, granted or approved by CISD/PWGSC.
