    Work Description:
    Work to be performed under this Contract includes, but is not limited to, the following items covered further in the Contract documents:
    • Installation of new generator system complete with double sided automatic transfer switch (ATS), subbase tank for 24 hr, generator pad, and associated components.
    • Existing electrical power service and generator system must remain operational at all times until the transition to the fully commissioned new generator is complete and ready for switch over.
    • At no time shall the building be without power.
    • Removal and disposal of existing generator system, ATS, and fuel system.
    • Removal and disposal of redundant feeders and raceways.
    • Commissioning and testing of all equipment installed as part of this contract.
    • Demonstration and training of personnel as directed by the Departmental Representative.  Refer to Section 01 79 00 Demonstration and Training.
    • Installation of all necessary wiring and equipment for fire alarm tie-in.
    • Patch, repair and paint walls and ceiling surfaces and parking lot.
    • Add supervision generator run/trouble at fire alarm annunciator.
    There is no site visit. 
    Delivery Date:
    The Contractor must perform and complete the Work within (26) weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer. 
    Value of Project:
    To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost $100,001 to $500,000.

    Due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and to encourage physical distancing, the bid receiving unit in Vancouver will remain open but with limited staff and limited hours: Monday to Friday, from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm (Pacific Daylight Time).
