Title: Institute of Ocean Sciences (IOS) Marine Communications and Traffic Services (MCTS) Renovation

Location: 9860 West Saanich Rd., Sidney, BC

Work Description: 

The Department of Fisheries and Oceans is seeking a qualified firm to provide renovations at the Marine Communications and Traffic Services (MCTS), Institute of Ocean Sciences (IOS) at Sidney, BC.

The Work under this Contract may include but not limited to:
1. Removal of existing demountable partitions.
2. Restoration of floor, wall and ceiling finishes damaged by the partition removal
3. Installation of new electrical and mechanical services, and connection to existing services
4. Preparation for the installation of two new workstation.

Site Visit: 
There is no scheduled site visit. 

Delivery Date: 
The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work ten (10) weeks from Contract Award.

Value of Project: 
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost up to $100,000.00.

Due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and to encourage physical distancing, the bid receiving unit in Vancouver will remain open but with limited staff and limited hours: Mondays to Fridays, from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm (Pacific Daylight Time). 

Public tender openings will be suspended until further notice. Following solicitation closing, bid results will be recorded and may be obtained by e-mailing a request to the address indicated in the Invitation to Tender.
