Correctional Service Canada (CSC) requires an upgrade of the existing central kitchen located in building B12 within the medium security zone of CSC Stony Mountain Institution in terms of aging infrastructure, the health and safety concerns for the preparation of food, and the inefficiency in terms of its water, heating and electrical use.

Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) intends to retain the services of an
Architectural firm, acting as prime consultant, together with a multi-disciplinary team of sub-consultants for the provision of services required for this project, as more fully described in the Terms of Reference (TOR).

MANDATORY SITE VISIT
There will be a mandatory site visit on Monday, April 11, 2016 @ 10:00 am. Interested bidders are to meet at the SMI Security Escort Trailer at Stony Mountain Institution, Highway # 7, Stony Mountain, Manitoba. 

Bidders should communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than 14:00h CDT, April 08, 2016 to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders will be required to sign an attendance sheet. Bidders should confirm in their bid that they have attended the site visit.

The site visit for this project is MANDATORY.  Bidders who do not attend the mandatory site visit or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment. Bids submitted by Bidders who have not signed the attendance sheet will not be accepted.

Bidders are responsible for obtaining copies of bid forms, special instructions and amendments issued prior to bid closing, and are to ensure they are addressed in the submitted bid. 

This procurement contains mandatory requirements. Failure to comply may result in rejection of your bid.
