    Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) requires the services of a firm (Consultant) with expertise in the mechanical and electrical discipline to act in the capacity of Prime Consultant and engineer of record for the provision of services.The generic Terms of Reference (TOR) provides the Terms of Reference for the common services required for the various projects.The Consultant will be engaged through individual project specific “Call-Ups” which will include a project specific TOR.
    
    The project specific TOR, issued at the time of the Call-Up, will describe project- specific requirements, services and deliverables while the GP&S document outlines minimum standards and procedures common to all projects.The generic Terms of Reference (TOR) document must be used in conjunction with the Doing Business document, as the two documents are complementary.In the case of a conflict between the two documents, the requirements of the TOR override the Doing Business Document.
    
    Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) requires the services of a mechanical and electrical engineering firm, acting in the capacity of the prime consultant and coordinating engineer of record, together with a multi-disciplinary team of sub-consultants for the provision of services required for the various Call-Ups.Services will be required for a variety of project types within commercial (office), agricultural and laboratory type buildings. A project may consist of;
    .1 An investigation/report,
    .2 Preparation of preliminary or final designs (drawings),
    .3 Preparation of specifications (NMS format),
    .4 Support to AAFC during tender and construction activities,
    .5 Post-construction support
