Request for a Regional Individual Standing Offer to supply all
materials, equipment, labour, transportation, and supervision
necessary to perform the following work, as more fully described
in the specification, at 17 Wing DND facilities, Winnipeg,
Manitoba.
.1		Ensure that the following equipment and components are
serviceable and in good working order:
	The electrical distribution network and its overhead and
underground components.
	Replace and realign hydro poles.
	Install and/or replace overhead or underground high tension
power lines.
	Install and/or replace guy wires, as needed.
	Install and/or replace any other necessary items.
Lightning conductors.
Fused circuit breakers.
Sectionalization switches.
Primary circuit ground wires.
6.	Repair underground lines.
7.	Perform any other work connected with the overhead and
underground electrical distribution and transfer systems, as
needed.
8.	Carry out maintenance and distribution work on transformer
groups,and Hanger doors including installation or replacement of
parts.
.2		The contractor will also perform repair or construction work
in accordance with the instructions accompanying each request.

It is anticipated that 1 firm will be issued a standing offer.

The standing offer will be issued for an initial 1 year term,
with two one (1) year options to extend the Standing Offer, for
additional consecutive 12 month periods.  The usage over the 3
years is estimated to be $300,000.00 GST included.

Firms intending to submit bids on this project should obtain bid
documents through the Government Electronic Tendering (GETS)
service provider at http://Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders .  Firms
that obtain bid documents from a source other than the official
site run the risk of not receiving a complete package.

Bidders are responsible for obtaining copies of bid forms,
special instructions and amendments issued prior to bid closing,
from the Government of Canada web site, and are to ensure they
are addressed in the submitted bid. 

This procurement contains mandatory requirements. Failure to
comply may result in rejection of your bid.

incorporated by reference into, and form part of, the bid and
contract documents. The standard documents are issued by Public

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
