    This procurement is setaside under the federal government's Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business (PSAB), as detailed in Annex 9.4 Requirements for the Set-aside Program for Aboriginal Business, of the Supply Manual.
    
    Further to Article 1802 of the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT), AIT does not apply to this procurement.
     
    Work of this contract comprises the furnishing of all labour, materials, equipment and supervision required for the Spiritual Lodge roof replacement, as more fully described in the drawings andspecifications, at the Okimaw OHCI Healing Lodge, Maple Creek, Saskatchewan. (see attached map)
    Construction is to occur over the winter of 2015-2016. Bidders are to include winter heating and hoarding in their bid. The Work is to be scheduled in stages to accommodate CSC’s continued use of premises during construction.
    
    MANDATORY SITE VISIT: It is mandatory that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held at the Okimaw OHCI Healing Lodge, Maple Creek, Saskatchewan on January 19, 2016. The site visit will begin at 10:00h CST.  Attendees will be required to meet in the parking lot beside the Healing Lodge prior to the start time, and provide photo identification when registering. They will be escorted from the parking lot to the Healing Lodge by personnel from the Institution and register onsite. 
    
    Bidders MUST communicate with the above Contracting Authority no later than 12:00h CST, January 18, 2016 to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders will be required to sign an attendance sheet. Bidders should confirm in their bid that they have attended the site visit. 
    
    Bidders who do not attend the mandatory site visit or donot send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment and their bid will be declared non-responsive. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.
    
    Bidders are responsible for obtaining copies of bid forms, special instructions and amendments issued prior to bid closing, from the Government of Canada web site, and are to ensure they are addressed in the submitted bid. 
    
    This procurement contains mandatory requirements. Failure to comply may result in rejection of your bid.
