Public tender openings will be suspended until further notice. Following solicitation closing, bid results will be recorded and may be obtained by e-mailing a request to the address indicated in the Invitation to Tender. Please monitor buyandsell.gc.ca closely as changes to bid closing dates may be necessary. ---------------------------------------------------------------- The work site described in this specification is located at Canada Boarder Services Agency Boissevain Port of Entry at the Canada - United States Border on Highway 10, south of Boissevain, Manitoba. The Work of this Contract includes, but is not limited to, the following: pavement removal and excavation, granular base and subbase supply, placement and compaction, geotextile supply and placement, supply and placement of asphalt pavement, supply and placement of concrete pavement, existing concrete pavement restoration, supply and placement of concrete curb, gutter and barrier, supply, installation and relocation of electrical and communication services and conduits, pavement line painting, signage, traffic control, staging and signage, topsoil and seeding, temporary services and environmental management. Work shall be staged to permit 24 hour, 365 day operation of the Canada Border Services Port of Entry Site. During July and August (peak season) the facility receives increased traffic and work restrictions are required. Restrictions are noted in Section 01 14 00, Work Restrictions. Work is estimated to be completed within 8 weeks after contract award. To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, the estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following category: $1,000,001 to $5,000,000. LISTING OF SUBCONTRACTORS AND SUPPLIERS: Take note that R2710T, GI07 "Listing of Subcontractors and Suppliers" has been amended. See SI08 of the Special Instructions. Failure to do so will result in the disqualification of its bid. Bidders are responsible for obtaining copies of bid forms, special instructions and amendments issued prior to bid closing, and are to ensure they are addressed in the submitted bid. This procurement contains mandatory requirements. Failure to comply may result in rejection of your bid.
