    Nature of Requirements: 
    Title: Weapon Concept Development and analysis.
    
    The Statement of Work (SOW) desccribe the services required by
    Defence R&D Canada - Valcartier (DRDC Valcartier) aimed at
    carrying out the following objectives.
    
    Objectives: 
    The objectives of the work are to provide DRDC Valcartier,
    Precision Weapons Section with spe-cialized technical services
    in the area of whole effect chain concept development and
    analysis. This includes development of weapons models (small
    arms, guns, bombs and missiles) and sub-models development
    (guidance, control, fuzing, fire control, propulsion, airframe),
    launch plat-forms, tactical data links, navigation, process
    modelling, tool development, engagement model-ling and
    simulation analysis (option analysis and trade-off studies). 
    The services will be per-formed on an "as-and-when-requested"
    basis.  The nature of the services required will advise
    technology demonstrator projects, applied research projects and
    technology investment fund projects and technical activities in
    direct support of the Canadian Forces (CF).
    
    Tasks:
    TASK 1: Literature study on current and emerging weapons and
    suites.
    TASK 2: Engagement conceptual modeling.
    TASK 3: Engagement modeling and tool development.
    TASK 4: Engagement simulation and analysis.
    
    
    Work location:
    The Contractor must perform the work on site at Defence Research
    and Development Canada.
    
    Client department :
    The services will be rendered to Defence Research and
    Development Canada (DRDC-Valcartier).
    
    Period of the contract :
    The period of the contract is from the date of the contract to
    March 31, 2016 inclusive.
    
    Estimated funding available
    The maximum funding available for the contract resulting from
    the bid solicitation is $900,000.00 CAD (Goods and Services Tax
    or the Harmonized Sales Tax extra, as appropriate). Bids valued
    in excess of this amount will be considered non-responsive. 
    This disclosure does not commit Canada to pay the maximum
    funding available.
    
    Intellectual property rights 
    Any intellectual property rights arising from the performance of
    the Work under the resulting contract will belong to Canada.
    
    Code of Conduct
    IMPORTANT NOTICE: New measures related to Code of Conduct and
    certifications included in the solicitation documents requiers
    attention.
    
    Other information :
    - The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Agreement
    on Internal Trade (AIT).  
    - The requirement is limited to Canadian services.
    - The requirement includes requirements for security.
    - This PWGSC office provides provides procurement services to
