Trade Agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: TITLE : BOILER ROOM - INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE, QUEBEC BASE, QC SCOPE OF WORK The Contractor is fully responsible for supplying, at its own cost and with no restrictions, the labour, tools and equipment needed to execute preventive maintenance work on the mechanical and electrical devices required for the operation of two (2) "Volcano" boilers, 125 kW each, for a total of 250 kW (building 400), and two (2) hot water heating systems (buildings 200 and 500). PERIOD OF THE CONTRACT The period of the Contract is from September 1, 2018, to August 31, 2019. Option to Extend the Contract : The Contractor grants to Canada the irrevocable option to extend the term of the Contract by up to four (4) additional one-year periods under the same conditions. TRADE AGREEMENTS The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA). MANDATORY CRITERIA AT BID CLOSING DATE The Bidder must have in its employ, directly and permanently, a minimum of one (1) journeyperson in each of the following categories: - Stationary Engineer, 4th Class - High-pressure welder - Pipefitter - Heating Pipefitter OPTIONAL SITE VISIT There will be a site visit on Friday July 13, 2018 at 10:00am. Interested bidders are to meet at the following address : Canadian Coast Guard - Quebec Base 101 Champlain Blvd. Quebec City, QC G1K 4H9 Important Notes : - Bidders are requested to send the list of participants to the visit by email at Gabriel.Piras@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca no later than Thursday, July 12, at 10:00am. - Arrive at least 15 minutes earlier to allow check-in at the Reception. - Wearing a helmet and boots is mandatory. Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
