Trade Agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: TITLE : Repair of Digue-aux-Aigrettes Wildlife Preservation Facility, Lac Saint-François National Wildlife Area, Sainte-Agnès-de-Dundee, QC CLIENT : Public Works and Government services Canada LOCATION OF WORK : The work to be performed will take place in Digue-aux-Aigrettes (Fraser point II) wildlife preservation facility, located in the Lac Saint-François National Wildlife Area. The LSF NWA is located in the municipality of Sainte-Agnès-de-Dundee, about 50 km southwest of Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, and near to the borders between Quebec, Ontario and New York State, on the south shore of the Fleuve Saint-Laurent. The worksite is accessible by Road 132, westbound, where a parking lot, located just after civic address # 7506, is available for the contractor. OVERVIEW .1 The work to be done as indicated in the current contract consists primarily, but is not limited to: .1 Reshaping and waterproofing of a dike, the replacement of a culvert and the construction of an emergency rock weir. .2 In a particular manner, the work primarily includes, but not limited to, the provision of labour, materials, equipment as well as any other operations necessary for the following tasks: .1 Required works .1 Deforestation of the dike (CH 1+150 to 2+610); .2 Waterproofing of the dike (CH 1+150 to 2+610); .3 Raising and profiling of the dike (CH 1+150 to 2+610); .4 Seeding of the dike (CH 1+150 to 2+610); .5 Cleaning a ditch and dismantling a beaver dam; .6 Construction of an emergency rock spillway; .7 Installation of four (4) buried screw piles. .2 Optional works .1 Deforestation (CH. 0+000 to 1+150 & 2+740 à 3+450); .2 Repair of the dike (CH. 0+000 to 1+150 & 2+740 à 3+450); .3 Waterproofing the dike (CH. 0+000 to 1+150 & 2+740 à 3+450); .4 Seeding (CH. 0+000 to 1+150 & 2+740 à 3+450); .5 Control structure replacement; .6 rockfilling. MANDATORY CRITERIA AT CLOSING DATE The Bidder must enclose a bid security with its bid. OPTIONAL SITE VISIT There will be a site visit on Wednesday Septemberst 29, 2018, at 13:00. Interested bidders are to meet at the following location : The location of the meeting will be in the parking, near the site access, between the marsh of Digue-aux- aigrettes and route 132. Bidders are requested to send the list of participants to the visit by email at Gabriel.Piras@tpsgc- pwgsc.gc.ca no later than September 18 28 at 13:00. CONSTRUCTION TIME The Contractor must have performed and completed the Work at the latest on May 31, 2019.
